Pueblo Grande Museum 4619 East Washington Street Phoenix, Arizona, 85034
Pueblo Grande is located at a 1,500 year-old Hohokam village ruins in modern day Phoenix. For over 70 years the museum has been dedicated to the study and interpretation of the Hohokam culture. On the 102 acre park grounds, visitors explore the ruin of an 800 year-old platform mound possibly used by the Hohokam for ceremonies or as an administrative center.
Driving Directions
From State Route 202 WEST take the 44th Street exit. Turn left (south) onto 44th Street. Travel south to Washington Street (approximately 1.5 miles). Take a left (east) on Washington Street. The museum is on the right (south) side of the road.
Pueblo Grande Museum supports Valley Metro Light Rail. Pueblo Grande Museum can be accessed from right-turn-in and right-turn-out access only along Washington street. Westbound traffic along Washington Street is allowed U-turns at 44th Street
From State Route 143 NORTH take the Washington exit east to 48th street. Make a left (north) on 48th Street to Van Buren. Make a left (west) onto Van Buren to 44th street. Make a left (south) onto 44th Street to Washington street. Make a final left (east) onto Washington. The museum is the first right hand turn-in.
