The Friends of Pueblo Grande Museum relies on public and business support to accomplish its mission to assist Pueblo Grande Museum in organizing and promoting activities, events and fund raising for the Museum. Annual membership is an easy way to show your support. Each membership includes the enrolled (voting) member and members of their household (nonvoting). Annual dues notices will be released on the anniversary of the “join date.” All members receive the following benefits:

  • Discounts for classes, lectures, and programs
  • 20% discount on most items in the Gift Shop
  • Invitations to “Members Only” events
  • Admission to Pueblo Grande Museum and Old Pueblo Archaeology Center

*The Pueblo Grande Museum is a member of the North American Reciprocal Museum Program The North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) program is an association of arts and cultural institutions in Bermuda, Canada, El Salvador, Mexico and the United States which offers select benefits of membership to each other’s qualifying members. Members at the $150 or higher level will receive a gold sticker on their membership card. This sticker will provide the members with either free admission and/or a gift shop discount at over 650 participating institutions. Click the logo to go to a list of participating institutions. The list is updated quarterly.

IMPORTANT: Members frequently receive information about archaeological sites which are considered sensitive and protected. By applying for membership, applicants agree to adhere to all objectives of the Friends of Pueblo Grande Museum and the Laws of Arizona and the United States especially the objective that discourages “exploitation of archaeological resources” for direct or indirect personal gain or recognition.

A Basic Business Membership is $150, a Standard Business Membership is $250, and a Patron Business Membership is $500. Download the Business Membership Application to see the list of benefits at each level.

To become a Member you can select a membership level from the list below. You may use the secure online application process or you can download the Individual Membership Application form to mail in your check or credit card information.

Once you join, your new Membership packet will include your official Friends Member card and will arrive within four weeks. Subscriptions last one year unless otherwise noted below. No automatically recurring payments.

Business Memberships

The Friends of Pueblo Grande Museum (FOPGM) Business Membership Program is an excellent way for your company or small business to privately support Pueblo Grande Museum Archaeological Park. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. IRS No. 86-0405182. FOPGM Business Memberships is a marketing investment tool with the opportunity to promote and enhance the brand and goodwill of your business to locals as well as those who live outside the Phoenix Area. We have members from all across the nation! You will associate your business with outstanding community history, conservation, preservation, and education. Your business information will reach our members, donors, friends, program participants, on-line users, and Museum visitors. The FOPGM offers opportunities to place logos and links for your firm on our website. Your brand will be associated with the FOPGM through the following benefits packages:

Supporter/Sponsor Support Program

The “Friends of Pueblo Grande Museum” (FOPGM) Supporter/Sponsor Program is an excellent way for an  individual, company or small business to support Pueblo Grande Museum without joining FOPGM. The list of areas and needs seem to be unlimited. While we cannot guarantee that specific funds will go to a specific need, we would like to know where to direct your gift if possible. Please use the list below to help us.

Suggested Support Descriptions

  • Education: To assist in dispersing educational materials: to provide lecturers and tour guides.
  • Archaeology: For the support of Archaeology related activities at the Museum.
  • Collections: To assist in the library cataloging and management, collection management, curatorial and conservation techniques, records management and research.
  • Adopt an Artifact: For curating artifacts in the Museum Collection.
  • Gallery Development: To assist in the replacement of the Gallery
  • Exhibit Development: To assist in the preparation of exhibits.
  • Hohokam Replica House Repairs: To repair and maintain the Museum replica houses.
  • Trail Replacement: To repair and replace the outdoor trail.
  • Solar Lighting: To purchase and install outdoor solar lighting along the trail.
  • Tree Replacement: To purchase and replace trees and plants.
  • Shaded Benches: To purchase and install shaded outdoor benches.

    EVENTS:
  • Navajo Rug Auction: This event is held each Fall and highlights Rug Art of the Dine/Navajo
people.
  • Anniversary Gala: This event is to celebrate the long history of Pueblo Grande Museum.
  • Indian Market: This event is held each winter and highlights the diverse culture of North
American indigenous peoples.
  • Mata Ortiz Pottery/Zapotec Rug Sale: This event is held each spring and highlights the diverse
culture of Meso- America.
  • Other: This may be any Museum improvements or activities you wish to sponsor.
